Judy's wide breadth of experience in the optical industry spans over 10 years. She has been working with Dr. Takeda for over 6 years now and currently manages both Lakewood Optometry and Pacific Eye Care. What she loves most about her job is being able to interact with patients on a daily basis and establishing long-term relationships with them. She derives a great deal of satisfaction in helping each person look and see their best! Providing excellent customer care is her primary goal. Judy is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
When she isn't working, Auntie Judy loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, all 8 of them!
Carissa has been working in the ophthalmology/optometry field for 9 years now. In the past, she was a surgical counselor for an ophthalmologist, as well as a technician. Her hands on experience has bolstered her knowledge of eye care and has allowed her to feel comfortable when interacting with patients.
Now that she is working in the optometry field, she has broadened her knowledge in the optical world. She has found new joy in assisting in frame selections and educating patients on the best quality lens options. Quality patient care is of highest importance in her book.
When she’s not at work, she spends her time volunteering in the community. In the past, she has also enjoyed volunteering with the deaf and hard of hearing. She’s able to communicate in English, Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). She lives in the LA area, and enjoys going to off-beat coffee shops and a variety of eateries with her husband.
Reyna has over five years experience in the optometry field, which has allowed her to develop qualities and skills to become an excellent Optician. Despite her initial busy schedule of working part-time and going to school full-time, her passion and drive has kept her in the field even after graduating from Cal State University, Long Beach.
Having a degree in Human Development with a minor in Child Development and Family Services has been assets to her success. Reyna’s favorite part about being an Optician, is assisting and educating families and ensuring they have a positive experience each and every time.
When Reyna is not at work she enjoys spending time with her fiance Luis and her dog, Bella.
Linda has over 4 years of experience in the optometry field. She is cross trained to pre-test, do frame selections, and perform administrative duties. Her favorite part about her job is to gain long lasting relationships with patients and not see them as just another pair of eyeballs.
Linda graduated from the University of California in Irvine with a degree in Public Health. She will be attending optometry school at Western University of Health Sciences in the Fall of 2018. She loves to travel, especially abroad. For fun, she likes to run half marathons.
